The South African National Editors' Forum, SANEF has slammed an alleged attempt by the Industrial Development Trust's CEO, Tebogo Malaka, to bribe Daily Maverick investigative journalist Pieter-Louis Myburgh. The incident, aimed at halting Myburgh's reporting on corruption allegations against Malaka, comes shortly after her suspension following a PricewaterhouseCoopers probe.
