SAFA's Elective Conference takes place in Midrand on Saturday

Political parties are being urged to rein in their leaders after a spate of public outbursts. This follows backlash over Water and Sanitation Minister Pemmy Majodina who was filmed allegedly swearing at a disabled resident in Kouga in the Eastern Cape. It comes just a week after Joburg Mayor Dada Morero also used profanities during a community meeting. Morero has since apologized. ActionSA says it will lay an ethics complaint against Minister Majodina. For reaction

The party says it will focus on service delivery, fixing municipalities and fighting for community rights.
