The Democratic Alliance is calling for urgent intervention by the Gauteng Provincial Government and SAPS, warning that illegal firearms and low prosecution rates are driving communities into a daily cycle of violence. The DA says only a fraction of cases are resulting in arrests and prosecutions, raising concerns about the effectiveness of the criminal justice system.
