Namibia is mourning the loss of its founding father and former President, Sam Nujoma. He passed away at the age of 95 at the weekend. Nujoma led Namibia's fight for independence from South Africa, achieving victory in 1990. He co-founded the South West Africa People's Organisation (SWAPO) in 1960, and became its first president.
