Eskom has reintroduced load reduction measures to mitigate excessive demand on its strained networks. The power utility is reporting widespread overloaded transformers, particularly in seven provinces, namely: Limpopo, Western Cape, Eastern Cape, Gauteng, Mpumalanga, KwaZulu-Natal, and North West.
