The Democratic Nursing Organisation of South Africa, DENOSA in the North West has welcomed a Labour Court ruling on rural allowances for nurses. The Johannesburg Labour Court upheld an arbitration award ordering the North West Health Department to pay an assistant nurse an 8 percent rural allowance backdated to 2018.
