KwaZulu-Natal taxi boss Thomas Siyabonga Getsemane is wanted by police after a warrant of arrest was issued for fraud and extortion. The charges relate to allegations dating back to 2023. Taxi association SANTACO in KZN says while the warrant is part of the legal process, it does not mean Getsemane is guilty and the claims must still be tested in court.
