FOSA slams fuel price hikes as economic blow, calls for urgent review and relief

View descriptionShare

The Forum for South Africa, FOSA has strongly criticised the government for planned fuel price increases due on the first of April. Petrol is set to jump by almost six rand a litre and diesel by nearly ten rand. FOSA says the hikes amount to economic violence against ordinary South Africans already struggling with high living costs. The group accuses the government of neglect and demands urgent action to stop or cut the increases. They also want a full review of fuel pricing and greater accountability. To elaborate further on their sentiments, Elvis Presslin spoke to FOSA National Leader, Tebogo Mashilompane
