The South African National Taxi Council, SANTACO has welcomed the extension of Covid-19 Taxi Relief Fund. Transport Minister Sindisiwe Chikunga announced the extension yesterday during a media briefing. The Fund was introduced in 2022 to assist taxi operators who experienced financial challenges during the COVID-19 hard lockdowns.
