This for his links with attempted murder accused and alleged cartel member Vusimuzi "Cat" Matlala. Testimony before the Madlanga Commission has demonstrated that Brigadier Mkhwanazi signed two memorandums of understanding with Matlala's security company. This was done without the authority of suspended Ekurhuleni police Chief Jabulani Mapiyeye. Mapiyeye took to the stand on Thursday to testify about the challenges encountered in the City of Ekurhuleni during that time. She wants refugee applications halted and mass deportations of undocumented foreign nationals to begin immediately. Speaking during a media briefing last night, Ngobese-Zuma says underfunding of the Border Management Authority is a major concern and warned South Africa is on the verge of collapse. She accused government of provoking violence and said authorities are "itching for violence" to test their power. Ngobese-Zuma added that if demands are not met, "they will see". BOSA leader Dr. Mmusi Maimane says failed governance and corruption in countries like Zimbabwe, Uganda and Mozambique are driving South Africa's immigration crisis. Speaking at Constitution Hill on Africa Day, he outlined a five-point plan to strengthen border security and immigration management. Dr. Maimane urged more funding for the Border Management Authority, faster processing of asylum seekers and stricter enforcement of deportations. National Assembly Speaker Thoko Didiza has released the list of MPs nominated to serve on the Phala Phala impeachment committee. Most parties met Friday's deadline, while the ANC submitted its nine members and one alternate over the weekend. The PAC and GOOD party opted out, citing that their sole MPs serve in the executive. The PA and Al Jama-ah have confirmed their participation. The Committee follows a Constitutional Court ruling requiring Parliament to probe prima facie evidence against President Cyril Ramaphosa over the 2020 robbery on his Phala Phala farm in Limpopo.We spoke to  MP and DA Spokesperson on Justice & Constitutional Development, Advocate Glynnis Breytenbach, who has also been nominated to serve on the Phala Phala impeachment committee
