ANC Secretary-General Fikile Mbalula has initiated disciplinary charges against two senior party members. Tony Yengeni, a staunch supporter of former President Jacob Zuma, faces charges for bringing the party into disrepute. National Executive Committee member and Deputy Police Minister Obed Bapela will also face charges for violating ANC policy during a visit to Morocco last year. Mbalula announced the disciplinary action yesterday in Cape Town, ahead of the ANC's 113th-anniversary celebrations.
