The International Relations Department (DIRCO) says it will assess Nigeria's request for compensation after its citizens allegedly abandoned properties during Tuesday's protests against undocumented immigration. Nigeria has told citizens to document assets left behind as over 600 people have been repatriated, with hundreds more awaiting return.
