Crime Prevention Wardens Programme - AmaPanyaza disbanded

The Gauteng government has announced the disbandment of the Crime Prevention Wardens programme, also known as AmaPanyaza. The decision allows the wardens to undergo training to become provincial traffic officers. The programme was introduced last year to help prevent crime in the province. The Gauteng Premier says the move aims to consolidate the capacity of traffic wardens and enhance community safety. Elvis Presslin spoke to OUTA CEO, Wayne Duvenage
