The Pretoria High Court will today hear an application brought by President Cyril Ramaphosa and the government to reinstate their opposition in a constitutional damages case. The case involves 25 families and survivours of apartheid-era human rights violations seeking R167 million in damages for the state's alleged failure to investigate and prosecute crimes recommended by the Truth and Reconciliation Commission, TRC.
