The Commission for Gender Equality in Gauteng will today host its policy dialogue on men's mental health in South Africa, focusing on closing the gender gap in policy and practice. The commission says the discussion brings government, academia, civil society and mental health experts together to address rising concerns, where evidence shows most suicide deaths are men. Men's mental health under spotlight  

KwaZulu-Natal Premier Thami Ntuli says temporary repatriation sites in Durban and Pietermaritzburg are closing today, as remaining Malawian nationals are relocated to Musina, Limpopo to continue the repatriation process. He adds that all individuals must first undergo immigration and criminal verification before leaving South Africa. For more we are now joined on the line by the Premier, Thamsanqa Ntuli

The Federation of Unions of South Africa (FEDUSA) has added its voice, calling on its members to report for duty on June 30, urging workers to maintain stability and productivity amid ongoing economic and labour pressures. Last week, The Motor Industry Staff Association (MISA) warned its members that because the demonstrations are not protected under the Labour Relations Act, workers who stay home to participate face disciplinary action, including possible dismissal. Fedusa's call comes at a time when many sectors are facing uncertainty, with concerns around job security, wages, and broader economic conditions continuing to affect workers across the country.
