US military is preparing our major bases to be able to survive for 90 days without relying on the civilian power grid, global supply chains, or outside fuel or water. This initiative, known as FORTRESS, aims to make every installation self-sufficient in case of an emergency.

The directive, as reported by FOX News Radio's Eben Brown, requires bases to have a stockpile of essential supplies, including electricity, food, water, medicine, ammunition, and communication equipment. The FORTRESS initiative is a response to the growing need for military readiness, particularly in light of recent conflicts and natural disasters.
