This election day, North Carolina is on the national stage, and the stakes are high. With the state's competitive Senate and congressional races, the outcome could have significant implications for the country. This episode, our guest Dr. Andy Jackson from the John Locke Foundation breaks down the latest early voting data and shares his insights on what to expect tonight.

As we head into election day, the numbers are telling a story of a Democratic advantage, with a 12.3 percentage point gap between the parties in early and absentee voting. This is similar to the 2018 midterms, but with a bigger turnout. However, the question remains: will Republicans be able to close the gap on election day? Dr. Jackson discusses the unknowns, including the independent vote and Republican turnout, which could make all the difference.
