Through Romans 12:2 and the Greek root behind "conformed," they show that Paul warns against superimposing a worldly blueprint on the mind. Transformation comes through renewal, not removal alone, since putting off requires putting on. A schema can become an internal interpretation that predicts rejection or abandonment and replaces being led by the Lord.
