“Everything I ever said or did to myself or anyone else, whether it was loving or cruel, or whatever it was, apparently, I should have done it. Why? Because I did.I can't change it. Does that mean I want to repeat the mistakes in the future? Hopefully not. Hopefully, we learn and grow and evolve, right? But everything that's happened should have. This is radical self acceptance.”
“I certainly understand that most of what we do is subconscious. Most of what the brain does, by the way, is running this system, this body of ours that we’re completely unaware of. And I also you know, I love the practice of being more conscious, spending more time noticing – whatever it is that you can notice. And I find there's a lot of practical and functional application of that into the quality of your life.”
