After her daughter’s death Sharon spoke to the media to share her daughter Sophie’s story and to advocate for others.
Sharon tries to make her life as natural as possible. She has the condition fibromyalgia and manages this mostly with diet and exercise.
Sharon believes that we are all just one trauma away from addiction.
As a society we don’t view and treat mental health problems sufficiently enough. There is a pandemic of suicide at the moment. We need to change so many things and rid the stigma around mental health problems. Talking about it more, including conversations with children, would be a helpful start.
A day of rest is not a wasted day. You are looking after your mental health. We are all human and we need to recognise what helps us and look after all aspects of ourselves.
Everything that happens in life is for a reason and it puts you exactly where you need to be. Sharon believes in synchronicity and that we are all connected in this small world.
