Dee was working as a senior practitioner in the health trust, her marriage had broken down. She got an intense migraine and rash and ignored these symptoms to meet the demands of her job and home life, she hadn’t had time to process a lot of her emotional trauma. She ended up being hospitalised, they didn’t know what was wrong with her, she was exhausted for a year afterwards. She believes this was her bodies way of forcing her to face up to her emotions and to rest. It was the catalyst for a bigger change, in her life journey, to becoming her truly authentic self and helping others do the same.
