Published Mar 2, 2025, 5:00 PM

We are back!

Get a. I'm Lula Berry, nutritionist, author, actor, TV presenter, and professional oversharer. This podcast is all about celebrating failure because I believe it's a chance for us to learn, grow and face our blind spots. Each week, I'll interview a different guest about their highs as well as they're lows, all in a bid to inspire us to fearlessly fail.

Hello, Welcome to the pod.

We have a special guest that I don't think anyone's ever had heard on this pod before. Really jokes jokes as being ironic, really bit of sarcasm. Matt Sofo aka your boyfriend, my boyfriend of six or seven We've got it's nine years now.

Bos.

Matt loves to say it's like talk it down and be like, oh, it's like six or seven years, and so now I've learned to really go over under your skin.

I go, oh, it's been nine or ten years.

No, I think it's like it has been six, Is.

It'll be seven?

Is it really? Ah? He loves to play jeez, seven, I think we just stopped counting.

Now, have you been with anyone this long?

No, neither, You're my longest relationship. Wow. Wow wow wow wow wie. Wow. Wow. We made it. We made it.

We made it.

The reason why we're doing this episode, we're calling it an Adventure Australiana episode.

Yes, and why is that, do you sir?

Because by the time you listen to this, we are in Australia.

It's been a while, yeah, hasn't it.

It's I think it's been almost exactly a year to the day. What are you minus two days? What are you so excited to do? First things first, other than me, that's sorry jokes. First things first, I cannot wait. I'll be going straight towards in Bangalow and getting I'll be getting getting a coffee.

And don't you get the Campbell scramble or something.

No, I get that. Oh my god.

That's because it's linked to my laptop.

That's what I know. The green eggs and ham is what I love, you know.

I love the bananas.

Yeah, the coffee. Definitely just be getting a coffee and yeah, I mean it's a cafe in the world and it is owned by two of our friends friends just mates.

Also, we love Bangalow, so that's that area is like the Hindland of Byron Bay, which is when when we first went to Byron's.

Yeah. So if you think about Byron, you know, kind of city center, it's about you know, ten twelve minutes inland. Yeah from there. Yeah, and it's beautiful and amazing and incredible, but it's like a little country town like it's you know, that's the opposite of l a Yeah, opposite. But yeah. So I'm so excited to firstly have a coffee, have some lunch, and then we will be going straight to the beach. We will be we will be baptizing ourselves straight.

Sorry, my phone is just on fire. Do you want me to shut my laptop down.

I'll do it in a second. Okay, I just yet, straight to the beach and then beach doesn't matter, clarks Front, beach, front beach, Clarks broken past head, whatever you want, and then giving us a new re baptism of sorts in the Byron water. What are you most excited about for the first day.

Nature gp, I think, yeah, getting to nature, swimming and just great coffee as well for sure, seeing mates, yeah, obviously, seeing Beck, seeing the boys.

Yeah.

I am also really excited. Like we've booked in acupuncture, my o therapy. Yeah, I've got a book skin in like I'm excited for all of that. Like I'm excited to like, like my health insurance kicks off. I'm actually excited to get on top of like all that stuff that we're in America we don't focus on as much. Yeah, but yeah, all that Byron stuff like nature doing the lighty war. Yeah, just like also resetting our nervous system a bit totally. You know.

Yeah, it's been Are you excited to see fan bam?

Yeah, I am. Actually it's so strange just being away for so long. Like I know, we like lived in Byron for I don't know whatever it was, like four years or something, but we still saw our families, you know, quite regularly, you know, at least every couple of months or whatever it was, or someone in our families. But having for me, having a full twelve months of like not seeing.

No birthday, no Christmas, no birthdays, no Christmas, Easter. Yeah, and it's just not a thing in America at all. Yeah.

No, And you know, like my little nephew started high school this year. Yeah, that which is mental breaks the mind. Yeah, it's like I remember when he was born, you know, and then my like youngest of them all, like my youngest niece started me, I started primary school. Yeah, that's you know, so it's like, yeah, it is a little bit hard to kind of miss some of like the milestones when you are away or living in another country. But I am very ex and I'm very excited to go back to Melbourne for the first time.

Yeah, So let's say our plans a little bit, so Byron, a little reset and nature time. Then we're gonna go Sydney. I'm podcasting, We'll see your sister.

I've got work, We've got meetings.

Oh, you've got a got meetings in since yeah.

And then yeah, obviously my sister lives in Sydney and brother in law.

And then we're gonna go We're gonna drive hey, Yeah, and then we're going to Melb's Fanbam time for gods. I've booked acting school, so I think that's gonna be fun. I think we're going to try and sneak up to Dalesford and see mum.

Yeah, but I think this is probably the first time I'm excited to go back to Melbourne in about five years.

Really, I am indifferent to I think, and you've been like catching me really well, but I'm getting a bit stressy. Yeah, we're recording this into the lead up to listen to leaving. I'm getting a bit like I'm fighting I must be a yes person because I'm finding it so had to say no to people that want to do social things or be like no, I'm sorry, I can't do that. I only got this window on that, you know what I mean. And recording quite a few pods in the lead up to going and it's just like ah and booking pods for Australia. I'm getting a little bit in my head about it all. But like I think that first chunk of time Enviyron is going to be such a good little like reprieve and reset and just like back to nature and just like grounding and taking it easy. But the moment I kind of feel a bit.

I feel like the last week before traveling, everyone is in that state, you know, like we still have to pack our bags and go get you know, little knickknacks from the chemist CVS. I was going to say chemist, but you know, a new toothbrush and this and that. There's so much to do, so I really think that, yeah, it's you do find it hard to say no to certain things, maybe out of guilt or people want to catch up, but look, you just got to have boundaries and say no and yeah, focus on us, because I don't need a stressed girlfriend.

No, but you are so good to catch me with the boundary thing and they're no, this doesn't serve me right now thing, And it's like it's really hard for me to sit in that space. But then I also look back at the end of the day, I'm like, oh my god, look how much I achieved because I set that boundary, because I put what needed to happen first. I think also in Melbourne, I really want to go to Terror Twilight, That's one of our favorite cafes. I'd love to go to like a play or the theater with my friend Tim or Dad. I just don't know that we're gonna I think I'm going to run out of time in Melbourne. Melbourne for us because we we're both from there, it becomes family, it becomes friends plus work plus acting school, like it just yeah, kind of snowballs.

Remember where again. That's when you just you have to prioritize. You can't see every single person, you can't do every single little thing. So it's like for me, it's like family number one priority, so like my parents, your parents, my sister's nephews, and then we've got like our best friends, you know, which you know a small handful of them, and it's like they take or first priority. And obviously we're they're for work and other shit as well, so that has to be a priority. So anything else is a bonus, to be honest.

So do you want to like get a martini or a little vino anywhere? Is anywhere like that you're looking forward to going?

You know what? I want to see? What like the new happening spots?

Are you youngster? You excuse me, gen Zia.

I know, well, if you think about it, we haven't lived in Melbourne since we left. We left Melbourne in twenty twenty.

We used to go to Neptune though if we wanted a veno didn't.

Yeah, but that was when we met eighteen or two and nineteen oh and.

We've got influencers stay in Mels.

Oh yes, we do put up at the Motley. Yeah, so that's going to be really really fun.

And I think I think that's in Richmond as well.

Yeah, and then I think we've got an influencer stay. It hasn't been locked in yet, but maybe in Byron Bay.

Later later on, and the Motley as well. If if you look at the photos, I have all these like really cool themed rooms. So the lady that's that's designed the rooms, she's quite like I feel like she's friend Rachel. Yeah yeah, so she she does all the I don't know that design and stuff like that. So she's like really like artsy and creative and a little bit quirky in like her fashion and stuff. So she's made these kind of like four or five separate like themed rooms which are really really cool.

Our friend Kate was saying how much she loved it too, and then the other thing, I forgot to say, what I'm really looking forward to. So I'm jumping around a little bit. Farmer's Markets, good Order.

Yeah yeah yeah, the Byron Farmers much yeah yeah.

But there's some things I think I'm going to miss in La too, Like what would you miss in La?

We're going there straight after this, Yeah.

Air one Love look like I do love La. I don't really miss where I'm not all that much like I do think like I think about Byron, and I think about like how much like missing it? But I don't really sit there and go. Fuck, I really like miss it, like I yearn for you know, we're going back though. Yeah, it's like I'm I suppose wherever I am, I'm just happy to be there and I don't I don't really miss like, you know, but I.

Do know it's going to fly though this time.

This time.

Oh sorry, I wasn't in my mind. Yeah, sorry, I do know what's going to fly. And so I want to make sure that I like this this boundary, not to come back to it, but I want to like learn the lesson now so that I don't feel pressured to do shit I don't want to do when we are, you know, quick like trying to do get everything done, you know what I mean?

Yeah, totally. Well I think you just say no up here.

So I want to go that Mexican place in.

Malbs Torterrea in Kensington. Yeah, I actually we need restaurant recommendations. Give us the new spots.

We'll hit us up on ig Instagram.

No, but seriously, like, yeah, I think Melbourne food is the absolute best in the world, and obviously Byron Food is amazing, and there's a few new spots that I do want to go to in Byron like Bangalo Tuck Shop, and I'm sure there's some other spots as well that we haven't tried.

I also look forward to, like Sam, I hope you hear this, like a night where we just come to your place and we cook together slash Sam cooks and he makes cocktails.

Were staying with him? Say? How good? Yeah, I'll be I'll be bunking in with the boys.

I've also made a list of things I want to buy in Australia.

Do you want to hear it?

This is like, this is like from this is just stuff you can't get in America.

Yeah.

Well, first of all, our favorite coffee bean Moonshine.

The coffee here is.

Not the same. I think also the water hero is not the same, which affects things. This sounds like a really weird one, but I feel like girls listening to this need to know if you're going to come to America you can extend a period. Say tampons, all the tampons you have these like massive plastic applicator. Yeah, like they're huge. So I have my australiansuppliers dwindling. So I'm going to come back with a horde of tampons from Australia. I want to get that curry paste the farmer's market.

Oh yeah, we love.

I really love the magnesium we get in Australia too.

Oh yeah it's good. Uh. Some loco love chocolate.

Oh it's not on the list.

Not on the list.

Also, I just like panadol. I like Australian panadole. Bin, I love that. But I think that's definitely all in your head. So you need thailand Ol here, No, thailand oil here is panadol advil is that's right?

Yeah, so thailand Ol is the same.

But somebody there was a Thailand old murderer in the eighties. Do you know this.

No, they pulled the pills out and put like cyanide or something.

That's in the eighties though it still a wild shit.

But happens in America.

Is a brand, right, And the active ingredient in panadole is that paracenamol, yeah, which is a seed and morphil whatever it's called that. Yeah, And in America they don't call it paracetamol. They call it that aceto or whatever. Blah blah blah. It's the same thing. I think it's going to get a little bit okay, Well, yeah, I know.

I feel like the I feel like Australian things are just got such good integrity.

Yeah, totally.

Also g GA laws versus FDA laws.

Literally only a month ago in America did they ban red color diye. Do you remember when that got banned when we were like three? Yeah, remember there was red Fanta or an orange Fanta.

There's no more.

Yeah, it's just been banning.

And I was talking to an American the other day about it and now like, oh no that that won't pass like this. Yeah, and you can see they're still using red dye in everything, so I don't know how long it's going to.

Take to yeah, to come into effects.

So that's what I mean, Like the integritive ingredients is so good in Austry.

But that's why you don't eat like red dye fruit loops and all these.

People come here and eat lucky charms booboo.

Yeah, I know that's so bad.

I mean I've come here and in crumble cookies before that's got all red coloring.

Really, yeah, they're bad for you. That might be like that might be different though from like a bakery kind of thing.

No, I don't think it's still got bad colored anything pink would have a drop of that red stuff.

Yeah, probably, surely, Yeah, yeah, I think, Look there's heaps of Maybe bring backsmith Tim teams and so.

I was talking to where I teach yoga here, and I thought I might bring back a pack of caramelo Kohalas and give him out.

To all the stuff.

Really is that cute or is that nerdy?

I think the chocolate's better in Australia.

So much better, so much better.

Yeah, well, everything's Hershey's here, isn't it.

Yeah, it's all Hershey's. And I do like Hershey's. You do you like?

You know that they've just brought out for Easter Harry Potter themed butter beer Hershey.

I don't know that sounds good.

I've never had a butter beer, so I don't know.

Yeah. Well, actually I've been off the chocolate for We've had no sweets.

Here we go. I'm getting I'm getting today.

Where was the last time we had sweets?

We had we shared a pump compied from air one.

Like two weeks count I'm talking about going and buying like bad food, chocolate bars and lollies.

It's stop having your Trader Joe's bickies. I cut them out months and months and months ago, like six months ago. Even when I went to New York recently. The hotel if you ever want to say it in beautiful hotel group, it's called one Hotel Group. Oh my goodness, ten points like I loved it anyway. They gave me these like beautiful like Choky's.

Yeah, I look. I tried one and they were amazing and I could feel myself wanting to devour like the whole thing.

I had one too, and then do you know what I did?

You threw them out? The thing is, it was like day one of my detox. So I was like, if I go down this route day one, there's no looking bad, yes, no looking back.

Do you know what I want to get today? From me?

One?

Though?

What I want to get I want to try the raw vegan cinnamon scroll that our friend Nina got. Oh yeah, I've been thinking about it.

I thought we tasted it when she got it. No I think I did.

I don't think I did.

Okay, I feel like it's today now you're talking about it else. I would like really putting that out.

Coconut water, uh soft serve, coconut milk soft okay, Yeah, I don't think how one has it? Yeah, how we want different locations?

Yeah I have it. But yeah I have been very very on the health wagon, like I have.

But in my creation cleanse. Yeah I've been doings every day.

Yeah, yeah you have. You've been nailing it. But I like really just set myself like a you know, you.

Want to go back spelt right?

Yeah? Hot yeah hot so No, No, no window burgers.

Yeah he stopped having burgers.

Guys, No, no junk.

We should should we haven't made in ages.

Burgers. You're going to say that, Yeah we can. We can do that one night. He burgers. No, Like, well, I don't eat processed like chocolate shit anyway, but none of that.

If I need something as like that feels a bit like a treat, I'll eat popcorn like olive oil organic pop Oh yeah, I mean it's not much, but it's just like if I'm like in that snacky move.

Yeah, yeah, you know what I really look forward to actually, like fresh seafood.

In Australia, oysters and stuff. Yeah we're from like Raise or the Boys.

Well wherever, like even just going to the shop like in Balino and getting all that fresh stuff doing that, but yeah, definitely a raised date. I would like that.

And because also, boss, you haven't been drinking. Yeah, no, medellos. I had a delicious pino and wi last night. I was catch up with my friend Alex and she goes, would you like a tea or a pinot? And I go, surprise me. She goes, oh, I think a pino and wa, and I go all right, she had this stuff imported, this Italian stuff imported.

It was so good.

Yeah, that's control. Yeah, yeah, no, yeah, I had a nice little month off the drinking. Just I think every now and again, you.

Love a reset booth.

That's yeah, the reset. I think that because like my my general drinking habits is just like you know, I have a little medello to medalos at night with dinner, miss having a whiskey. Yeah, so like you know, I like that kind of thing. But then I was like, you know what it feels, and obviously there's nothing wrong with that, but it feels and obviously I'm a bit anxious and like you know that kind of personality. But I was like, it's just good to be able to like reset and just don't reliant. Yeah, break the habit of like you know, doing it every day even though it's not like an issue or a problem. So I'm like it just good to Like last year was two months this, you know, a month. The year before that was like four or five months. Year before that was like four or five months as well. Yeah, exactly.

So whereas I'm a bit diff to you when I'm with the Yeah, I'm more like I how would you describe my drinking style?

You're just like if we in like a social situation, yeah, you know, and we all just have a glass of wine together, that's where you'll have it. But you you don't ever just like pull yourself away skin at night.

Yeah I'm not a daily drinker.

Yeah, where I'm like, it gets the end of the night and I'm like I might just have a yeah, all the sudden goes down. I was like, this would go great with her.

Yeah that's not me.

Chris Medello like if we have even together a couple of whiskeys or plan it. Yeah, like I'll be like Saturday night, let's have a couple whiskeys together.

Yeaheah. I like that though it's more mindful.

Well, it's very like date night vibe.

Yeah yeah, yeah, I all have a of wine every now and again, and I'm trying to.

New wine bar and silver late with the girls. The girls.

This one it's a callest Okay.

Yes, I've never heard of it. I think it's called.

But it's it is a wine bar, like it's I'm going to go another peanut and water.

Yes, anyway, so yes, so much to look forward to in Australia. I have genuinely missed Australia. I think it's you know, just the best, the best, and Byron Bay is just like.

You're going to go to Comma for a message.

Yeah, I suppose if we if we have.

One here in La at the place called the Now. I love when I went last week. I love that it sounds like the ocean.

Yeah, I find that a bit distracting. I find a bit too loud.

No, I love it.

Yeah. The last one that I went to a couple of weeks ago, the guy absolutely fucking hammered my back. So I'm going to have a bit.

More of a relaxed Did you get Felix.

I don't know, he was like a big dude.

Oh no, I got Felix.

He was great, But yeah, I don't know, like being here for an entire year definitely makes you appreciate home home like so much more and and knowing that we still have our home in Byron, you know, that's little root. The roots are late, the roots are still there late.

It also makes me, though appreciate how lucky we are to be here, and also like, let's just take stock for a sec of the last year of like we've had some wins, Like we've had some really like some Like I've been here with how many years I've.

Having come back and forth? Now four or five?

I think yeah? Four?

Yeah, And it's this year that I think that it started to like make the most in the last year, don't you think, especially the last probably three months of twenty twenty four. Yeah, yeah, absolutely, And it's like looking back and being like, Okay, well, we are here for reason. We are here because we want opportunity and stuff to like fall into place, and it's just so it's nice. Like I think that's one thing that traveling does. It kind of forces you to take stock and like the stuff that work, the stuff that didn't work, the stuff that was hard, Like fostering Pickle was so fucking hard. Giving him back was like tear my heart out and stomp on it and I miss that, you know. But then like booking Tit Morning TV on two different big networks and having that happen and being on hold for a couple of acting gigs, and so I'm like, actually, like energy is in motion. Things are moving in the right direction, do you know what I mean?

Yeah, totally, And I think it does go to show as well. Like whatever you do, you do have to just plant yourself there, yeah, and give it, give it time.

You know, so many people say LA is dead and no, like actors don't need to be here, And I'm like all of the opportunities that have come acting wise have all been from being planted here. They're casting stuff all because I've been planning the connection stuff or because I've been planted here, like going on to actual sets, all because I've physically been here. You can't do that from Australia. So it is like it does make you realize the value and how it is not to bandy this word around, but it is a privilege to even be able to live here as well and call this a second home, you know.

Yeah, yeah, absolutely, it's a privilege to be able to do it.

But it is equally as much of a privilege to be able to go back to Australia and reset and have like beautiful friendships and all that kind of thing. So I'm excited. One other thing can I say I'm really excited to is a movie date with you boo in Australia. Oh well we was always something we did together.

Yeah you know, yeah, you know. Actually can't wait, just something just dumb jog my memory across the road from the movies in Byron Sunday Sustainable Bakery and having a meat pie and.

The Maggies and Magpie is here. H oh remember our pet Maggie.

Yeah, Devon.

Should always sing for us.

Yeah, oh my god. Top Shot Burger, top shop, Burger, top shopper. Yeah.

Roady Coffee as well, Roady Coffee, Yes, and you love that like toast from Roady with a jam or is that a croissant?

No, No, it's the fruit toast. It's like the raisin toast or fruit toast. What else there there? Breakfast Burger is amazing. Domer Yeah, Japanese. We've already booked, already decided what.

Day we got a dom and date because we didn't do anything for Valentine's Day here because when I was pissing down the two you've been on your clans and so I was like, let's just do it in Byron.

Yeah, which is what we did last year.

We did the opposite. Yeah, we had had it at all time, do you remember.

Yeah, we had on the fourteenth here March and then yeah, so let's I think that we'll go to Raisin.

Yeah, date night. Yeah, how nice will that be?

Yeah, it's gonna be really nice just to sit a water goes and yeah, do that. I do want to have a bit of time, especially in that first week, just to be on holidays and actually decompress and de stress. Like the energy in America is great, but it is so much more stressful. And you know, like every day I walk past like a homeless camp or something, and I'm always feeling like I'm just a little bit on edge.

One thing that happens in America.

Obviously there are different laws and stuff here anyway around, different policies, but you're constantly aware. Yeah, Like every time I park the car, I triple checkets locked.

Yeah, I think about it.

I don't leave anything in the car because I'm like, I don't want to come back and the windows be smashing because there's Yeah, so there's this like hyper vigilance that comes with being here. But then there is also you're driving down Sunset and the palm trees are there, and you know, you see a mate's face on a billboard and you're like, oh my god, you feel so much closer to the melting.

But look, it is just very similar to living Melbourne CBD.

Yeah, no, that is absolute monarchy.

Melbourne. Sydney CBD.

It's Sydney.

It's very you know, it's very go. New York feels more New York. Yeah, New York's definitely more Melbourne.

I think New York is the superior city.

Yeah, but but it's like, like Anthony says, like, be there in a winter and then then come yeah, so it's like we'll be freezing and snowing, and yeah, I don't know that we're built for cold and snowboss, We're like we're like summer children.

Anybody that wants to move to LA, that wants to live in LA, I would say the trick, the hack to making LA work for you is to take breaks from LA. And that doesn't that stops you from falling out of love with it because La is a hard city. It is not designed for success. It is designed to chew you up and spit you out and it doesn't care. And so if you find a way to have reprieves from La, then you're always going to be fresh, You're always going to be resilient, You're always going to be able to like this is going to sound only Yogi, but shakshin, like you know, stand in the fire and not react and be okay with like the uncomfortable moments because there is more of them than the good moments at the beginning.

Totally, yeah, and that's why we do, you know, road trips, your Joshua Trees and your o'high's and the New.

York like have little trips and like already, like when I was doing a PLA for the year because I'm a triple virgo and all those fun things, I was like, Okay, let's plan our trips for the year. Let's plan our little getaways. And when you're in America, it is easy to get around, Like you can quickly fly.

We have to go to Sanford.

I know he was going to say that I want to go to Montana or Wyoming.

Yeah, we can definitely do that, but we've got to go see you.

And I would like to go back to New York. I know I've already been to New York recently. Why I love New York boo, There's something about my absolute dream is to host a talk show. And I just think, imagine hosting a late night talk show in New York, which I know is mainly men, so.

Probably I think it's not that the changer late night talk.

Show New York?

Could you?

I kept I would always walk past Jimmy Fallon's The Late Show with Jimmy Fallon just I was only there for three days in fair boss booked it for Valentine's Day for me, and I would just be like, imagine if like one day that said.

Lolla, marry, that'd be cool. You know, New York's is so though, like to stay in you know, like where were like Midtown?

Yeah, as in Midtown this time as well.

It's just so expensive, but it is.

And I will say, you've got to go for at least three nights because you spend six hours at six hour flight from LA to New York. But planning these little reprieves and get you get out of LA for a little bit. You come back and you're like great, like you and I think be in La for Everyone's like why when people learn where from Byron Bay, Like why are you here? And I'm like, opportunity, opportunity, getting shipped done, being like moving forward career wise, because as beautiful and as amazing as Byron Bay is, there's no production studios there.

There's no You also get stuck in a small town mentality there, do you reckon? Yeah? And I think like and obviously like that's like our home and like you know, all that kind of stuff. We love it, we love it, but yeah, it's like not much exists outside of Byron for people to live in Byron.

Do you feel creative though when you're in Byron? Yeah, I think the biggest career wins.

Yeah. Absolutely, I did all of my best work, you know, just from being there. You know. Having said that, I find LA very creative too, do you? Yeah? Yeah, I do.

I much more.

I find it more like this is a functional place to get shit done, whereas I get my creative spurts when we're in Joshua Tree or Yeah.

See, I don't know like I think that. Yeah, I probably just like lean into that energy and it's like wow, lean in. But yeah, so Byron's like you know that. I think you feel like everything only exists in Byron and there's no world outside of that. But there is such a big, big world. And I think if you are in a creative industry and you know your torn between living in a big city and Byron, I definitely think and like going between them Lamb is like the best plan because you do you need both, Yeah, you definitely need both. But even here, like most people leave La, you know, towards the end of it, like like what.

Ossie's tap out after Thanksgiving? Everyone loves Thanksgiving here because in Australia we don't celebrate. It's that's the last week in November. Usually Ozzie's pack up and they they stay in Australia till fair well, won't you. It's like we did our first Christmas here this year and we were both like, okay, so La.

Doesn't feel super christmasy.

Yeah no, it's not at all.

But our friends had a really Christmasy Christmas which was nice. So nice.

Yeah, what did I cook again?

We did the proper all the trimmings, like turkey and shit.

No, I did that for Thanksgiving. Turkeys are Thanksgiving?

Lamb.

I did Lamb. That's right.

It was so nice. It was like beautiful and so so nice. But I also think like, did it make you miss your family and stuff?

Yeah? It did, And you know it definitely for me family like Christmas is. I mean, they're technically our family pretty there, our LA family, but it's more about like the kids and having the kids running around and screaming and doing all that last night.

And I was like, let's Thanksgiving. Yeah, and I was like, I reckon, we like Australia and a Crimbos. Yeah, moving forward, I don't know, just because Ala itself doesn't feel other than the grove.

It doesn't feel super anyway. It's all good. Yeah. So when you are listening to this, we will be in Australia almost likely.

Yeah, I guarantee what's going to happen. We'll go back to Australia. We'll be like in the middle of decompressing and having a holiday and being like okay, this big work and then like I'll get an email or a phone call. You're going to email a phone call and everything will just like kick off again.

I reckon, I already know what it's going to kick off as soon as like.

Yeah, I know for me, as soon as I let myself be like, okay, this is my time to you know, gell, something always like comes in yeah, and it's always something good. Yeah, you know, it's always something like oh fuck, I can't say no to that. I got to do it.

There's a saying about la the moment you book a trip is when.

You book work here.
