Welcome back to the Pod, Natasha Webber.

Mate.

I've got your beautiful book in my hands and it has been such a joy to read. It's also hardcovered, it's so it's like a beautiful specimen. Are you so proud? Because last time we came, you came onto the pod, I was like, I want to see a book, and you said, well, I'm working on it, Lola, I'm working on it. So how does it feel You've got a book out in the world available now?

I know, you know, I've been working on it for seven years. As how long I've been working on it four years, sort of aligning with those satin and uranus mini cycles. So it's been a labor of love. But you know, seven years seems like a long time, but in actual fact, I'm grateful for that because I feel like I'm a better astrologer now. I've been an astrologer for twenty four years and I really feel that I've learnt so much in my own journey. So it's coming out in divine timing, and I'm so very very proud of it. So thank you, and I'm so very grateful to you because I know you've been actually reading it and preparing for this little chat, which is so virgo of you.

Yeah, well, to the listener, it's called Your Celestial Compass, and it is officially out now. It is astrology for self Discovery and Empowerment. And I love that you make something I love about you. I've interviewed quite a lot of astrologers now because as you know, I love bide yogus. I'm a little bit, you know, a total novice, but really into it and you just make it so digestible and that's my favorite thing about when we get to chat. But also the book as well, you like simplified it because I always get confused with like the twelve Houses mutable, like all this stuff, which I've got a million questions. You're right out, but.

I really I wanted to simplify it because the people that I want to speak to are people that are spiritually minded. You know, maybe they enjoy their yoga and their chai, and they love reading their horoscope. They probably know their rising sign and their moon sign, but they may not know anything beyond that. And I just to take those people under my wing and say, hey, guys, yep, let's let's honor your zodiac sign. Let's let's deep dive into everything about that, your personality, your love language, your sex style, compatibility, health and wellness, all of that. So I do that with the twelve signs of the zodiac. So all you know is your zodiac sign and that you know, a lot of people just know about that and are just interested in knowing about that, and that's fine. But then I wanted to take them on a journey to learn more about their moon sign and whether or not they're immutable sign, and you know, the components in their birth chart and what those confusing symbols mean and more, yes do you.

I don't know if you remember this from last time we spoke and to the listener, the last episode on VLC Failing was ours. We've just re released our first ever chat you and I did in Melbourne. Now you taught me a trick. You said, I'm going to give you a tip. I'm going to give you a hot tip. And you said, read your rising sign before your son's sign. And as I was getting to your book, Virgo comes up before Sagy, and as you know, I'm Saggy Rising, but Virgo sun Moon. And I was starting to read the Virgo section of the book and I was like, ah ah, we're going to skip to the Saggy. So I read the Saggy first, which I actually and this is what I want to ask you about. I know we spoke about last time, but just for the listener, it's so fascinating. I feel like I resonate more with the Saggy, but then I can see the Virgo almost feels like it relates to more like the structure of how I'm built or something like. It's more like it feels like the fundamentals of who I am. But the Saggy is like my heart or something that's something where I can describe how it feels reading about the two signs both important, but like I think like I'm ruled a bit more by my sagy and decision making.

Yeah, well, actually your planetary ruler of your rising sign is the chart ruler, so that is the planet that is most heavily weighted and important for you. So Jupiter for you is your planetary ruler essentially over say Mercury, which is the planet that rules Virgo. But you're so right in saying that we are layered, you know, so your sun sign represents your basic character, and so I would encourage you to read the Virgo chapter because that is going to relate to your basic character. And when with that hot tip that's specifically for your horoscopes. You know, there's sun signed horoscopes because just the way that an astrologer interprets, those are more aligned with the houses and more aligned with your rising sign. So yeah, I'll leave the horoscope bit there. But your moon sign represents your emotional landscape, so that's you know, another layer to you. But yes, you're going to resonate also with that sage rising because that's your you know, it's a personality. A lot of astrologers say it's the mask we wear, but it's still an integral part of of who we are. You know, these basic four major placements in the chart, you know, and you would probably know that I've debunked the whole big three theory. I mean, yes, the Big three. Great, it's the three most important placements in the chart, like the sun, the moon, and the rising.

But hey, what.

About the mid heaven. It's equally as important as the rising because it's a mathematically calculated point in the sky that relates to your the tenth House cast but relates to your career. But beyond that, like what you strive to do at your highest potential, your vocation, your life direction. So I'm like, no, we really need to honor the mid Heaven. So I don't know about the Big four, like that does sound like the banks, but maybe the core four is four sounds awesome. Yeah, the Core four is more sophisticated and more accurate than the Big three.

I love it. And you taught me about the mid heaven last because I think mine's Leo, and I remember you teaching me and You're like, well, this links to all of your career stuff. And I was like, oh my goodness, like it is, and this is what I come back to about the way you make it so digestible, and because it can feel a bit heady like and a bit mathematical, and a bit like, ugh, this is all a bit too much. I'm just going to read my son's you know. But can I share something I've read in your book that I love?

Oh please, thank you?

Astrology. It doesn't write the final script of our lives. It's less of a crystal ball and more of a weather report. And I love that concept of it, like just all right, let's have a look at like the weather ahead. And I think that that feels like a really nice compass to like to stick with the way of the report, like just to know, like the way that the winds are going, the way, the way the swell's going in the ocean. Just felt I really liked that metaphor and the other one that I loved because I get really confused about birth charts, natal chart. I know they're interchangeable, I'm pretty sure, but I like the way you say it's a map of the sky at the exact moment of your birth, kind of like a snapshot of the heavens at that exact time. I mean, you've just made it easy because the amount of times people going to be what's a birth chart? I'm like, I don't know, it's the astrology when you're born, Like that's what I say.

Well kind of that's kind of true as well. But yeah, thank you so and thank you because that felt really special hearing someone else read out the words of my book for the first time. Just having a little moment here. But yeah, and what I was saying about the astrology not writing the final script and not being the crystal ball, being more of a you know, the cosmic reporting the cosmic climate for the purpose of the native, the person to make their own decisions based on the astrology that's going on. Astrology doesn't force us to do things, I mean, to a degree, it's fated because we're working within the cosmic climate that we're given. But that's why I wanted the word empowerment to be in the subtitle, because you know, not just because it's a trendy word, but because we are truly empowered when we know our chart, we understand the astrology, and then we can make better decisions for ourselves.

So that's yeah, it is. It is like a weather report, right, It is kind of like, okay, cool, like this is what this is what's coming up. And I think as well, like I remember opening my phone as we were booking this and we were trying to figure out recording times, and I remember I just had a chaotic week. Like it just felt chaotic. I felt a bit stuck. I felt a bit like my auditions weren't sticky. And you were like, oh my god, I'm so excited to talk to you. There's so much stuff going on for you right now, like and I was like, really, And it just gave me that little bit of hope as well when I needed that little bit of like because as I think you would know this because I know you're a Virgo moon, aren't you.

No, I'm not a Virgo moon. But my that exact ample in the book about the Gemini sign in the sixth house, which is a Virgo house. Yeah, that's that's me, the Gemini sign in the sixth house. So I have the Virgo layer. So yeah. That's something else that I talk about in the book is that the house that your sun sign falls in gives you an extra layer to your personality according to the ruler of that house. So if you're an aries sun sign, and you know, arees are very dynamic and action orientated and go getting but your house falls in the Sorry your son falls in the twelfth house, which is ruled by Pisces. That's going to soften your ares quality and give you more of a sort of leaning towards spiritual interests. And you are going to need time alone in solitude to replenish and rejuvenate and get inspired in So yeah.

So fascinating, isn't it unreal? Could you talk about this all day long? Is this just like your jam?

Yeah?

Yeah, Oh my goodness, my brain always goes in a million and one areas. I know that I want to talk to you more about the book and more about I know you've had a little squeeze at my chart and I'm so excited about that, very selfishly of me. But I have to ask something because what my dream as a kid was to be a zoologist and my dad was a vet, and so Melbourne Zoo was like a really happy and I've taught yoga at Melbourne Zoo for fundraising events and stuff. Really did you grow up pretty much at Melbourne's? Yes? So your parents both work there.

Right, that's right. The newspapers called it the snake Pit Romance back in the sixties seventies, and so I was born there because my dad was the assistant director. My mum had a job hand rearing all of the baby animals that would be presented to the zoo that had been you know, maybe their mother had died on the side of the road, or sometimes when animals are born in captivity, the mother doesn't take to nurtuy or young. So I experienced all of that. You know how the jaguars in the house. The monkey's a chimpanzee in my pram oh really. Yeah, grew up with those in natural rhythms and deep respect for animals. In fact, my dad looked the zoo was a concrete jungle when my dad started working there, and his thing was really redesigning the enclosures to be more aligned with the animal's natural habitat. So I love that and I love that about the Melbourne Zoo now it's literally like walking through a jungle made it.

Especially that Matt for my birthday one you got me the Lemur encounter. And if you hang with the lemurs, you walk through into their huge jungle and you just sit there and glay climb all over you like you were just like at a tree to hang out on. It's so cool, but you do feel like you're in their natural environment, like as much as it can be. It's huge, you know, So no, I just had to say that that was a nerdy animal thing. But my dad's a vet growing up in that same like animal environment on top of the clinic literally like after school, like some mornings you'd be going to school and there'd be an a kidnap in a box out the front of the vet clinic that someone's found and put there, you know, Like, and.

How interesting because you and I've had that similar experience with animals, and obviously not everyone with a Sagittarius rising is going to have that, but Sagittarius is the sign link to animals. And I did a research topic when I was still I was still studying. I was at the end of my studies at the Triple Ac and my teacher asked me to do this because she knew of my link to animals and the zoo. And so I researched tons of charts of like Diane Fossy and Jane Goodallcummings or anyone that had had a really strong association with animals in their lifetime and that I could get my hands on their birth time and I found found these incredible commonalities in the chart, and Sagittarius is definitely a sign link with animals. But what I also found was, I won't go too much into the research, but that Mars was very much dominant in these people's charts. And I think that when, especially when dealing with dangerous animals or large animals, there needs to be that kind of understanding of you know, whose boss in a way, and not that that's necessarily a good thing, but I think, you know, it's just an interesting perspective on our primitive relationship and that dynamic.

Because so fascinating. So I could talk to about animals all day long. I was going to say, my dad was an equine vet as well, and he's Sagittarius. November twenty fifth.

Yeah, and sometimes astrology is so incredibly literal, it's just kind boggling. You have to have it.

Yeah, how cool? Oh my god, I could I want to hear all about that research. So anytime you have random animal stuff for me and Matt and I have just started fostering helping little pups in LA and it's to completely changed the dynamic because you've got this like little animal that just needs your help. You know, you just need to sit there and help it and shepherd it's on its way.

And oh it's kind divine how rewarding that will be. Yeah, I love that.

Especially as well when you're in that like that part of your life where your go go, go, go go and career, career, career, and then you've got this like little unconditional love that pops in that physically needs your help because they're sick, some of them, and so it's just it's a really fascinating thing to experience, like the dichotomy of like being in a really hard city but then having this like beautiful animal. And when I was reading your book about Saggy being like the adventurer and then link to animals and nature all that kind of thing, I was like, oh my goodness, this makes total sense, because yeah, I feel very good with animals around me.

And that's so good for you too, if your career, folks, and as you said, on the go with all of that, then the little animal is grounding and it gets your priorities into shape, doesn't it about what's important? Yeah?

Can I ask a couple more questions about the book? Oh?

Please?

So can you teach me the houses, because that's a bit that I get confused about. So I obviously made sure that I understood sixth house Virgo, and then the ninth house Saggy. And then you were talking about mid heaven, which is tenth house. Is that right or correct? Is that right?

Yes? So the houses represent the areas of life where everything takes place. So you know, you've got the planet in the zodiac sign is where it's happening, how it's happening, and then the houses kind of show the areas of life. So the first house will represent our childhood. It also represents our environment, how other people perceive us. The second house is all about money flow, but also because it's ruled by Venus, it's about our value system also and what's truly important in our priorities. The third house is to do with communication, so you know, this can be literal from writing and speaking to radio, broadcasting, anything any means as to how we communicate, you know, what we're thinking. It represents our intellect and our concrete mind. And then the fourth house has more to do with home and family and our ancestral roots. Fifth house is our children. It can be our inner child if we don't have children, and also our creative flow and you know, it's our fund zone how we have fun. And it also represents romance and love affairs, but not necessarily the marriage part that interestingly enough, that seventh house, but then the sixth houses is your daily routine. It's what we do every day, and it's also a health our well being on more of a physical level. But given that the six houses ruled by Virgo, the deeper aspect there is wanting to be of service. So people with their son sign in the sixth house, you know, on that deep yearning level, want to be able to provide a valuable service that helps other people and that possibly changes their lives. The seventh house is to do with partnerships, and this can be marriage partnerships, but also business partnerships, contracts, legal affairs, all of those sorts of things where we literally enter a contract with someone else, either verbal or written contract. And then I mean, I'm really skimming through these rhymes, massively skimming through them. I love it. The eighth house is ruled by Scorpio, so we go deep into the eighth house. It's the house of rebirth, death. This can be it can actually be cool death, but it can be a metaphorical death where we're grieving and letting go of an idea paradigm, a mindset. It also has to do with shared resources and the finances money that we share with other people, and so therefore inheritance comes into play. But it's like because Scorpio is the sign of the phoenix, so it's the house where we can disintegrate and crumble outdated behaviors and patterns and then rebirth them into new, healthier ways of being. It's also quite psychic the Eighth House as well as the twelfth House. But the I saw someone gave a reading to her with her son in the eighth House, and I had known this person for twenty years and that was very surprising to me, and I was really concerned about giving her a reading because it didn't align with how I saw her, and I thought she would think that I was off the mark. But I spoke to her and it turns out she was incredibly psychic, and she ended up becoming a eulogist for funerals, yes, and marriages. Yeah, So that was interesting. And then so the ninth House is all about education, but whereas the Third House, which is opposite. The ninth is to do with the concrete mind. The ninth house is about the higher mind, so learning through the school of life and some forms of formal education as well. And it's of course to do with travel. It's rule by Sagittarius, so you know, adventure and what we discover across foreign shores. And then I want to be up to the tenth thousand that the zenith of our chart is is a very important house because it represents our mid heaven, our career, our vocation. I think I mentioned before you know what we strive to do at our highest potential. It's also to do with reputation and status, so when we get married, that can that mid heaven point can be triggered. The tenth house the eleventh house. Most people might know the eleventh to be about friendships and networking, but it's also to do with hopes and wishes. So it's quite a beautiful house, and i'd say the luckiest house if you've got your son signed there or your moon sign yau. And then the twelve house, of course is in the shadows. You know, it's the balsamic house of the chart, and so ruled by Pisces, the final zodiac sign. It's it's to do with hidden aspects of ourselves. Of secrets can be hidden enemies as well. It's our mental health, it's our subconscious mind, it's our spiritual self, our soul. So that's a very quick run through.

Well, you nailed it, you know. I love it. I love it so like and again, a million questions I've got on all of this stuff. And I love like we could talk elements, we could talk mutable, fixed, cardinal. There's so much stuff we could talk about. But I don't want to miss the opportunity to have a little glimpse at my natal chart and and like, because you and I have been able to stay mate since that first reading we had, which would be almost a year ago. Yeah, it'd be like feb I reckon.

I think it was longer. I think I reckon. I think it would have been maybe two years ago. Really, I don't know, Actually no, I don't know because I haven't got the initial chart on me.

I don't know. We'll figure it out. But that episode's a listener. That'll all be out last, like in the last week's episode. But I just wanted to know, like coming into like I'm in la coming into the end of the year. I am. I've got multiple like I feel like I'm juggling multiple balls in the air right now. And I'm just like any little bit of like guideans that might come. I am. I'm an open book.

Yeah, well, I did have a look at your chart and some charts, because you know, I don't just work with one chart, so I've calculated a few and I do, as a Gemini, tend to get away with myself with you know, with talking about it. So I will try and keep this like a mini snapshot so we can, you know, keep it short. But I might just go through your natal chart just for those people who may not have heard about your natal chart before, because that's always interesting, given that it's our astrological blueprint, very important. We've mentioned your Sagittarius rising, of course, and what that represents. It's also the sign of philosophy, so of course you're someone who likes to bounce around ideas and get really deep with those and explore those. But you also have the sun in Virgo, which we also mentioned before, and the moon in Virgo, and this is a character basic character, and of course your deeper level represented by the moon of someone who is exact, someone who likes to do things properly and thoroughly and will go to the nth degree to strive for excellence, and that is wonderful. However, the flip side of that can be that you can be extremely hard on yourself and self critical and just hopefully and understanding that you're able to pull yourself out of that spiral when you catch yourself doing that. Your sun and moon is in the Balsamic lunar phase as well, and that gives you that real spiritual quality where you know that's your yogi, where your inner yogi sprouts out from. And people who are born during the Balsamic phase are people who are spiritually street wise because it's the final lunar phase just prior to the new moon, and so it's like you spiritually have been around the block a few times, and that's beautiful. You know, it brings wisdom. I like in the balsam I don't know if I've talked about the lunar phases and how they translate for a person's character and their life experience, but being with the Bolsamic means that you can also be vulnerable, so that deep empathy as well, and receptivity that you have to other people's feelings makes you a fantastic you know, potentially a psychologist or someone who can connect with other people and who's interested in that spiritual realm and what lies beyond the veil. But at the same time, there's a level of vulnerability and sensitivity there as well, so you need to learn how to protect yourself there.

And then of.

Course the Leo mid Heaven. You know, this is completely different to your Virgo qualities. This brings you out of that modest, quiet Virgo shell almost and it's about putting yourself out there on the stage and being theatrical. Even people that don't pursue that professionally have a little flare for drama. You know, they might have put on shows with their parents when they were little, or like to do something out there in their lives in their own special way. But you know, people think that Leo is driven to seek attention, and while that can be a part of it, the deeper layer to that is a profound need to share your creativity because Leo is the sign of creativity. I mean, pieces is also creative. But and this is why Leo rules children as well, the ultimate act of creation. So I love that about Leo. But this definitely, you know, draws you out onto the stage and to be seen. And then, oh, your north note is in Taurus and your south note is in Scorpio. So I don't know if you've heard me talk about the nodes before I talk about them in the book. I love the nodes because they direct us to the qualities that we need to develop in this lifetime. So the south node represents, if you believe in past lives, it can represent our past lives where we've come from. As some astrologers say, it's what we need to let go of. And while that can be true, it's also lovely to acknowledge what we bring into this life, and we don't need to work or focus on that anymore. We need to direct our focus towards our north node. For you, that is in Taurus. So that would tell me that in this lifetime, for you, it's very much about building your self worth, and maybe you do that through your creative work out on the stage. You know, it's that deeper layer to that. Creating a level of emotional and financial security for you in this lifetime is vital and also learning to let go of control. So this is what your noting Taurus is saying. But it's also very much part of all that Virgo stuff. You know, let go of control. You're perfect the way you are. And then you have Jupiter at the bottom of your chart conjuncture fourth house Cusp. But so this is quite lovely for family, home and family, but also it's almost directing its light up towards your mid heaven directly opposite. So this is beneficial. This tells me that there's help from other people and there's celestial guidance. So I called Jupiter the cosmic fairy godmother or the celestial They.

Call it lucky, right, they said, the lucky Yeah, yeah, Uncle juups lucky vibes.

Yeah, it's the planet of luck. It's the planet of abundance. It's the plundel of prosperity and happiness and joy and blessings. And you've got all of that shooting up towards your career point in your chart. But also you know, aligning with your fourth house CUSP. And I'll just end this birth chart little run through with Uranus in the first house, your little rebel. So with Urana's rising you're someone who definitely likes to dance to the beat of your own drum. You like to do things your way. But this is beautiful for wanting to do things differently and having that beautiful uniqueness and authenticity about you. And it is so important that you always do follow an authentic path because otherwise you will feel off track. This also makes you okay with anything techy. Does that sound right? Yeah, yeah, it kind of gives you that that gift.

So I definitely know what you mean about. Whenever I'm not marching to the better mo own drum, I feel stuck. And then when I don't, when I've feel stuck, then I feel like my freedom's taken, which is like a real stagy, like I'm like ooh, trapped, like caged in. And so that stuck feeling for me is probably one of the worst feelings because then all my creativity is dulled as a result as well, so that I have to feel like I'm marching to the men my own drum. Otherwise it's it's it's like a trigger that can make me spiral.

Yes, exactly. And Uranus also is the planet of freedom, and it's a planet of independence, so you always need to maintain some level of independence. I mean Sagittarius as well, you know, and Uranus is in Sagittarius for you. So freedom and independence is very much a part of who you are. And you can still be in a loving relationship and have a large degree of independence in that relationship. So it's about you know, understanding and navigating all of that now.

I think. I think also it's career for me to like if i feel trapped career or I've lost my creativity, and that's why it is even you would know, like the creative side of like a book, like I imagine you had a big say in the cover and like the font and the colors and you know, like and they would have pitched probably four or five ideas to you. Right for me, that was my favorite bit? No, no, But that was like people like, what's you favorite bit? I was like the photo shoots, the like the collaboration, but I was like and picking the covers and like I had to feel like I was kind of part of that whole process. And I think career wise, if I ever feel like I'm put in a lane, I'm like, oh, this feels terrible. I have to feel free. Was that a fun bit for you, I have to ask, sorry to digress quickly.

Yeah, oh my god. And you know what I was expecting going in with with Penguin, who were the publishers. I thought, I don't even I might even want to self publish. And I spoke to them and I said, look, if I if I go with you, I just my my biggest fear is losing creative control because this is my baby and I need to present it to the world in a way that feels aligned for me. And they were like, yeah, I thought, oh my gosh, Okay, this is a bit of a roll of the dice. But you know, anyway, I have to say that the process, the editing process and all of that was incredible. I mean I was almost hoping they were going to do more. Okay, so literally every word, every choice was the final choice was in my hands. And I've got to tell you that they did present a few different colors to me and I the one or probably the two colors that I always thought, nah, reject those colors, that that's not what I'm about would be black and purple, and that's what I've ended up with. But when I saw the options, that was just the best option. But I had this preconceived idea in my head about what I wanted and I really had to get past that and yeah that was in front of me and be in the present moment and choose the best option. But I was attached to, you know, to the old story that was going on, like I've got to be fresh and I've got to be you know, feminine and all of that and black is Yeah, so it was it was interesting. But can I say when you I'm just going back to you now, Yes, create you need creative control, not just because of that uranus and the saggy, but it's also your your leo because you're an incredibly creative soult so you need to honor that and and wanting the control a little bit. That's that's your Virgo virgo.

Yeah I knew, I knew that to be the case.

All I love it.

I love this. I really appreciate you doing a mini reading on me as well.

Let's have a look at let's have a look at So that's your your blueprint, So let's have a look at what's going on for you, my cord Lola. There is so much going on for you. There is so much that's going to happen, Like pretty much when you were talking to me before, I was thinking, well, don't get attached to anything, because it's all going to change now, you know, And that's not good. It's not bad. It's just it's just going to things are going to shift for you, and I think you're going to find yourself in it in a very new direction, you know. All right, let's let's let's start at the beginning. So you've got Jupiter that is in retrograde at the moment, and what that's doing. Jupiter is retrograding through your seventh house, so this is the house of partnerships. Additionally, planet Uranus, so that's transiting. Uranus in the sky, not in your birth chart, is moving up towards your seventh house CUSP. So this is very much changing your partnerships. Now, this could be a romantic partnership or it could be a business partnership. So I think you're going to see some major shifts happening there. Jupiter is going to be retrograding until early February, and Uranus is going to hid in June twenty twenty six, So this could make you feel a bit restless rebellious. You know, you might end up with a new agent something like that. So yeah, there's a lot about around partnerships there. And this could also be you know, legal stuff as well. So looking at Saturn in your chart, this is opposing your moon and this could be making you feel a little, you know, a little restricted. You were talking before about how it's so important for you to have that freedom and if you're feeling like you don't have that right now, that is because of Saturn Satin restrictive dampening influence on that. But you can use this positively by you know, working at establishing some type of emotional control now. I know there's that fine line between being controlling and feeling like you're in control of your choices, you know, and somewhere in between the two is ideal. But this is all about establishing and setting healthy boundaries. Satin can help you do that now, and this influence is around you until January twenty twenty five, working on saying, you know, this is a here's a new boundary, this works better for me, and this is what we're sticking to.

I love that this all makes total sense. By the way, this makes a lot of sense Okay, all right, very good, very good.

And then you're going to feel like just looking more at the near future because I always like to look at the outer planet, so it's long term, big stuff. And if we've got an outer planetary shift triggering our sharp you know this is going to be impactful. But it's also more long term view. So more short term is the Sun is currently traveling through your twelfth house, and this could make us feel like it dims our light a little bit, but that is going to get a whole lot better. You're going to be feeling brighter and lighter ironically when Sagittarius season kind of strikes, because that means the Sun is going to be moving up to your rising sign, your ascendant sign, and then making another cycle through your chart. That's kind of the beginning of your chart, and so you'll be feeling like, Okay, I'm in a brand new phase and I'm shining lighter, I'm feeling more energetic, more vibrant and vital. And then you've got Venus traveling through your first house at the moment, and this is really lovely because this is about popularity. It's bringing attention to you, possibly bringing a new female friend or an old female friend that's a little quirky and that maybe can be there to support you in your life at the moment. It's also about sort of thinking about unorthodox, unconventional ways of making money. So is there a side gig that you you know, that is in the inner workings of your mind that you think, Oh God, that's you know, that's a little weird, that's a little unusual, that's going against my you know what I typically do. I don't know if I'm comfortable with that. Well, Venus is kind of saying, yes, you are, and this is the right time because it's connecting in with that uranus we were talking about in your chart. So doing things differently is going to work for you now and this is short term, this is kind of over the next three weeks.

Now.

What I really wanted to talk to you about in this transit chart was the eclipses. The eclipses, Well, I have a chapter in the book all about eclipses, and I want you to read this because this is going to majorly apply to you next year. And that goes for these solar eclipses, which or the influence that a solar eclipse has on a person's life. So this is more to do with new beginnings and fresh starts, but also the lunar eclipse, because we have a total lunar eclipse next next year, and this also is in your sign, your sun and moon sign, so it's going to profoundly affect you. And the lunar eclipses have more to do with letting go and eliminating something from your life. So you've got both of these things happening, the triggering your sun and moon signs, particularly in March and September of next year. So next year and into twenty twenty six as well, this is a pivotal year for you. I wouldn't be surprised if we caught up again in a year or two and you say, yep, that's when everything changed for me. I look back at that year as a game changing year. So I call eclipses instigators of change and of instigators of change, but they are This is the twist. It's not necessarily change that you can predict, not necessarily change that you can control, because eclipse is a link to our fate, link to destiny. So these whatever happens for you is part of your destiny. But change in its very nature can be uncomfortable, you know, when we're kind of walking away, or maybe not for someone with the uranus rising who's uncomfortable with changing the status quo. But generally speaking, right, so we do need to I call it let go and let flow when eclipses happen. And this is kind of generally speaking, but for you, it's going to be more more personal, and this is going to make change happen in your life. So surrender to the changes that come up, Let go and let flow, trusting that whatever's happening despite you know, no matter how uncomfortable it makes you feel, it is leading you towards your destiny and this destiny is due for change. Or if I can get a little more specific, let's look at your tenth house, your eleventh house, because this is where the eclipses are triggering for you. You've got your son in the eleventh You've got your moon in the tenth house, and the tenth house is all about your ashen, your purpose, your career. Right, so this is where the areas of life, as we were talking about the houses before, this is where these effects and influences are going to play out for you. But also the eleventh house, So that's friends and networking. So you might be really like leveling up your networking and that might be pushing you into uncomfortable territory. Maybe you have to, you know, like put yourself out there in a certain way, or who knows, but you are going to be experiencing shifts in those areas. I think also possibly in home and family as well. This is reflected in the opposite house to where this is happening, which can sometimes happen and I'm pretty much covering everything like friends and networking, career, a home, and family. What else is there? Right? But it this can happen with an eclipse, we can have that ripple on effect because they're so profound, and given that it is incorporating your sun and your moon sign, it's almost like integrating that masculine and feminine part of yourself. So that feminine part of yourself is letting go and surrendering and trusting and the softness that you bring not just to your life and your career and you know, your family, but also the softness that you bring to yourself, which is especially important to you given your Virgo placements. But also you've got to balance that with the masculine energies, so standing up for yourself. We're talking about setting boundaries. Yeah, and in the book, you know, I'm very clear about the masculine and the feminine energies within each of us. It's non gender specific, okay. And I also wanted to talk to you about your secondary progress chart because all on top of all of that that's going on for you, with the eclipses and the transits, you're having the most profound secondary progress shift. Now, I know I'm talking an astrological lingo, but what it means is our secondary progressed sun or the chart itself, is basically different mathematical formula that calculates our birth chart according to where we are now. And what the Sun does is it changes an entire zodiac sign every thirty years. Does not start from age zero, It starts from it and that depends on the degree that the sun was in at the time of our birth. So it will start at different ages for each of us depending on that factor. But then every thirty years, you know, it's organic movement of the sun, so we have to calculate this properly. Thirty years or so we get this extra layer of a whole new sun sign and it only happens depending on how long we live, maybe three times in our life. So for you, you're actually going to be changing your secondary progress sun sign from Libra to Scorpio. So you're going to have this massive Scorpio layer that you're going to be diving into. And this is happening in March next year, but that's when it clicks. Over that said, because this is such a profound shift, you would already be feeling the wow already.

My boyfriend's scorp rising.

Oh is he? Okay? So that's interesting because like pieces of a puzzle, you could be aligned at some sort of mutual goal, which I think maybe you are and I'm talking about it later, but okay, So you're going from you know, the Libra sign, which is about relationships and partnerships and maintaining harmony and keeping the peace, into the fierce and fabulous scorpion, which craves more substance, more depth, more passion. Scorpio is a sign that is prepared to look into their shadow and say, yeah, you're really ugly, but I love you. We all have a shadow. But Scorpio is that signs that can live comfortably in the shadow and embrace it as beautiful. Right, that's cool. It's cool, but it's not for the fainthearted. Right. So this is also about living your raw truth. We talked about authenticity before, and it's also about your passion purpose, what piques your passion, what excites you. Because Scorpio doesn't want to live in a superficial world. It wants it wants something. It wants meaning, it needs meaning. You will also be questioning who and what you are loyal to, and loyalties may change. You've got thirty years of this way.

I was about to say, is this going to be thirty sounds cool? I mean, yeah, it sounds it sounds like if all that Eclipsey, like the massive career or the big life changes are potentially going to trigger off next year hearing that that's also when I'm going to feel this exactly energy that I feel like being in the rawest truth while you go through huge life changes that potentially set up your destiny for the next you know, the huge impact on your life. I'd want to be in that energy and comfortable with the like both the light and the dark sides of that.

Exactly and when these changes arrive. This scorpio quality is going to drive you towards a new direction that's going to be more meaningful. Yeah, that's that's a beautiful way of putting it. So, but Scorpio is also the sign of change and transformation. It's like a metamorphosis into a butterfly. But initially we have to go into that cocoone. Yeah, and part of that is about letting go and eliminating from your life. So you will be saying goodbye to certain areas of your life, maybe some dreams, maybe some relationships in your life that are no longer and it's just it's just that you've outgrown them and you're now moving in a different direction. But ultimately, and I've written here in my notes in big capitals, it's about empowerment. But the sun begins, you know. I don't want to talk about the math too much, but as it evolves through those thirty years, it peaks in its influences. You're a beautiful work in progress in terms of all of these scorpio qualities we're talking about, so you don't have to have it all figured out all at once. I love it. And then all right, I had a quick squiz at your solar return chart, which tells me the themes of year ahead from birthday to birthday. So the solar return is when the sun returns to its exact position as it was when you were born, and I look always to the rising sign of the sol return sharp. So currently the sole return year that you are currently in from your last birthday last month, you have Arees on the ascendant, so this is a year for you until your next birthday of action. It can bring up some frustration, you know, because because Areas is a sign that wants to move forward. I don't want to stay. I want to move forward. I want to hit my goals. But sometimes life has other ideas and this can cause some frustration with that Areas energy. But Areas needs to keep moving forward. So the message is keep going, keep going for now. Also while you're while you're heading towards your goal with that Aries determination, it's important to incorporate self belief, self love, and self care because Aries is the first sign of the zodiac, so you need to prioritize yourself. It's not about Selfishness is not what or no. Self care is not selfish, it's smart, right Areas, given that it's the first sign of the zodiac. Is also about new starts and new beginnings, so these are available to you in this next year. But on the flip side, there can be impatience as we discuss, and also some burnout. So that's where the self care comes in. Don't burn out. The moon is up by your mid heaven for this year. The moon can often bring profound changes. So I'm thinking, here are some changes for you coming up in the career. And the chart ruler which we were talking about, the planetary ruler of a chart for you, it's Mars this year, and this is very much about communication. So I'm wondering whether these new beginnings has to do with you know, radio broadcasting more podcasting, could also have to do with studying, going back to maybe studying or learning a few new tricks. Maybe you're going to write another book. It's also, you know, on a deeper level than that, about communication. We talked about satin and setting boundaries and being really authentic in your communication and how you communicate your desires and your hopes and your wishes and your boundaries and you know what you want and where you want to go, and and that I did kind of look at series, which is an asteroid to do with a parent child relationship up at your career point. But also this is the point of your highest goals. So I'm wondering whether parenting is maybe coming into play and you're maybe thinking about that. Maybe it's your parents, maybe it's your parents in law, maybe it's you as a parent, and that kind of falling into place or becoming part of your conversation over the next year. It's so interesting.

I think I told you this last time because we've done IVF and frozen embryos, but we check in every birthday. That's our rule, like how do we feel about it? But it's been so interesting fostering. I've found it really hard to let go of the I get really maternal with these little pappa jines. And I said, all right, new goal, we foster and adopt next year.

So I think we want.

To bring in a little four legged popper Gene, which is quite a big thing to do here in LA which is so go, go go, and so it doesn't have that grounded energy, and so I think like and I think bringing in like an.

Not just fostering, but also adopting a little.

Animal in need is going to be something that happens definitely the early part of next year.

So you're really tapping into that nurturing series asteroid element. And you've obviously thought about, you know, we ready to go forward with the embryos, but that the answer was no, not yet. That you're still channeling that energy somewhere, which is what we talked about earlier about using the charters as a tool and empowering yourself to make the decisions. It doesn't make force you to do anything, but the opportunities are available to you. And speaking of I did also have a little peak at your next solar return, so from your birthday, which is actually on the fourteenth of September, so the solar return can fall day before or day after our actual birthday, and so for you from next year until September twenty twenty six, there is Jupiter in the first house. Now Jupiter, I mean it's the lucky planet. So there's a lot of luck around you, which is wonderful, a lot of help from other people. But Jupiter is also the planet of growth, and when we see it like this in the first house, it can indicate pregnancy. Okay, that option for you is available just saying, so.

I've got to go hard on the career for the next this next year and a half, get ahead.

Well yeah, I mean yes, but don't sort of see it that way, because as I said, I think the eclipse is going to sort of switch and change things for you and you if you make that decision, it means you will be ready to make that decision. Yeah, and that half, So don't feel panicked that I said that to you, and it is not at all a fair way off as well. Yeah, but I couldn't help but have a look at that. And when I saw the series up on the you know that's the parent child thing, and I saw the Jupiter in the first house, I really have to voice.

That it's so interesting as well because I've planned two trips with both my parents, like both coming over at different times as well as there's a lot of parent child like but like I literally picked that up from Lax tomorrow morning, but Mum next year and like there's a lot of and that first time of eclipses you're talking about March, I know that I've got a lot of parent time then as well, Like so it's kind of good. It's so fascinating that knowing what I have logically planned as well, and what's like in the works, and how it aligns so beautifully to what you're saying.

Yes, I'm glad to hear that it kind of resonates and that it's validating for me, because I mean, giving a birth chart reading as well, I approach it as a counseling tool, counseling session, and so when the person I'm reading for opens up, then we can get deeper, you know, and we can get into more specifics and I can provide some guidance like, oh, okay, you're thinking this, here's what the planets would suggest, and here it's the timing around this that would be most beneficial to support that opportunity or support what you're wanting to do there. So I really, you know, I really feel strongly that astrology is you that way, because nothing's set in stone. I think you know, every clevoyant or psychic reading that you go to probably should tell you that as well. There is always a free will involved.

Yeah, and you write that beautifully in the book as well. You're right, you write that this is like back to the weather report. You know, here's a weather report, Like let's look at it, and I must say, like, as somebody that obviously sits in that very heady like virgo list planner, like you know, have have have a loose plan for my next three years in my brain already and back up plans. It is so nice because it's almost like this little compass to kind of like add to the mix and be like, Okay, well that actually makes total sense. And I know I've got to make some really big career changes even in the next you know, by jen next year, and I'm like, how exciting that that time's into that scary choice I was planning on making, you know. So I think it is so nice to have someone are you in, whether it's in somebody's corner or people can feel like they've got you with them, you know, through the book as well, and so you know, I think you're absolutely wonderful. And I'm like, I'm already like shivers, can't wait for our next installment.

Yes, this is going to be a lifelong, a lifelong friendship, I think, Yes.

A thousand percent. Thank you for doing that, Like I really really do appreciate it. I have one more question about the book, because I have I cut you off by the way or are you that was?

No? That was that? Was it? The Jupiter? And who doesn't love finishing on Jupiter? Right? And ironically you're your chart rulers, So yes, Jupiter's my favorite planet. It's also the planet of more is more, so got to love that?

Sign me up the thing that I'm like just starting to get my head around, and I just think for somebody that's a novice like me. But can you explain the difference between I think you refer to them in the book as modalities, but it's like the cardinal, the fixed, and the mutable signs, and like, how what do they mean?

So it's almost like the elements, where they're adding a new quality. So yeah, they can be called qualities. They can be called the modalities, the cardinal, fixed, and mutable signs. So just like the elements, every sign will belong to one group, either of the cardinal group, the fixed group, the mutable group, and these modalities provide another quality or layer. And it's all about the layers, you know. So if you're an aries, for example, you've got all your ares qualities and then you layer that up by being a fire sign. And the fire signs are dynamic and you know, they're they're motivators, they're movers, and they're shakers. But then Ares is also a cardinal sign, so this is an additional layer to that zodiac sign that provides different types of qualities. And cardinals are really the instigators, you know, they get things done, whereas the fixed signs like Taurus, like Scorpio, they are signs that can stick to the project and see it through to completion. But then again they can be incredibly loyal because that quality is conducive with all of that, right, But the fixed signs then struggle with ending relationships and walking away from toxic patterns and people because they are so loyal and they're so in it for the long term and committed. And then the immutable signs are you know, as the word describes, you know, this is your pie C's and these signs they go with the flow a little bit more so. They're highly creative and they sort of step in and bring the creative ideas and the flow. But then they need to work more on commitment and seeing projects and relationships through completion. So they bring different strengths each of these modalities to the zodiac signs, but equally they bring different challenges as well.

It's so fascinating even as you're describing it, Like I've got a friend that's you know, sun moon rising areas, and then I've got someone else that's a real Taurus in my life, and I'm like, oh my god, that is exactly how that taurus is, you know. And it's fascinating when because I also work in a yoga studio here, and so I get to see all different personality types right on the day, and it's so fascinating. Like applying this to even a work environment and seeing how they thrive in like that kind of communal space space. It's so fascinating. It's like a fun it feels like a fun extra layer and study of human behavior. That's what astrology feels like to me.

Oh yeah, so it's a fascinating window into people and what makes them tick. I mean, I cannot meet someone without trying to dissect their astheological blueprints and all their layers in my own mind, like, oh, I bet you, I bet you she's got a score.

Or is it a geologist?

She's probably a Gemini.

Oh, I have to ask you, I have to ask you, what is one thing to the listener right now that you hope that if someone picks up this book and reads it, what's the one takeaway that you really hope lands.

I think I would hope that they would understand that they are so much more than their sun sign, and that they'd be able to read through the book and take all the different placements that I interpret and be eight like so the moon sign, the sun sign, the possibly the Venus sign, which I don't go into specifically, but a little bit in the love and compatibility, the North node sign, even in the chapters where I talk more about navigating life using the planetary cycles, to be able to say, okay, well my satin falls into the fifth House, and this is what my satin return means for me, so to I would like them to read the book and get a clear understanding of all of the different layers of themselves. So in a way, it's kind of like a birth chart reading in a book, but also to understand how the planetary patterns are going to present for them and how they can best navigate it according to their age and their planetary placements in their birth chart. So that's really two. That's two things, isn't it. Sorry, that's Okay, you didn't let me apologize for me. Yeah, it's such a beautiful book to the listener, Natasha Way, but also you've got your on tally, You've got a beautiful pod yourself.

People, I'm going to tags normal pot.

No, the pod is gone, the pod is as Yes, the pot has passed.

Well, then that even more excuses for me to keep getting your back on this one. Then fabulous.

I'd be very grateful for that, darling. Yeah, no, I'm just I'm doing the morning show now in Australia every Monday with the horoscopes. And you know what I love about that is, yes, we're where I'm reading the horoscopes and that's all fabulous. Everyone loves to know what their horoscope is for the week. But we all know horoscopes are the tip of the iceberg. And now do you know they've got the horoscopes on Channel seven So I write those every day on the on the Channel seven News, sorry, on the news, on the Prime News. So this had a bit of a backlash from the press because they were saying it wadn't serious journalism, and I mean, to be honest, I was blown away that seven News were even considering that, but they did, and there they are, and I think it's a wonderful introduction. You know, I think horoscopes are the gateway to the more comprehensive astrological study. So if I need to be the mouthpiece for horoscopes, then what a beautiful privilege. But yeah, I'm loving all of that. I'm loving.

I'm so excited for you and to the listener, go out and grab this book, your celestial compass. I think it is such a beautiful book and it feels lovely. It feels like a gift. It is like I love it. I love it. I love it. Please down the line because I have to get you to do a hot seat one more time like last time. But I know, I know, I know you had the same reaction last time.

You know, But I think I spoke about something last time that I've never spoken about before and never spoken about afterwards. Yeah, it was very personal and you got it out of me.

Well, here we go, volume to my friend. But thank you so much jumping on this pod. I cannot wait to have you back on again, and hopefully we can do one in person. If I'm when I'm next in town or when you're you might be stateside. Who knows?

Who knows that.

Would be one's mate book to it?

Well, okay, yeah, I get that idea in my head. Thank you so much for having me on, Lolla. You are an absolute gift and it's a pleasure to read for you, a privilege to read your charts. Thank you for being so open and for having me on, and thank you for taking the time to read the book.
