Interview: Zoom's local boss on controversial 'back to office' call

In 2020, as lockdowns kicked in and people started working from home, the number of Australians using Zoom increased 54-fold. In that year alone, there were more than 800 million Zoom meetings in Asia/Pacific. The company's share price boomed, and Zoom became synonymous with video conferencing.

But as we returned to the office, the share price came back down to earth, and Zoom is now reinventing itself.

Bede Hackney, Head of Australia and New Zealand at Zoom, talks to Jennifer Duke about how the company stays relevant and innovative, and why Zoom staff have now been asked to return to the office two days a week.
