Our second-largest trading partner is not the US, or Japan. It's the ASEAN bloc: a group of ten south-east Asian nations, whose leaders are currently meeting in Melbourne.
So with this two-way trade already worth $178 billion, why are only 22% of Australian exporters sending goods to ASEAN nations?
