Why Trump Does Not Want Him In Congress w/ Justin J. Pearson

Tennessee State Representative Justin Pearson makes the case for his run for Congress in Tennessee's 9th District, a seat gerrymandered to be Trump +21 that his campaign has pulled within four points. He says the race is now competitive because people across Tennessee are fed up with corruption, unaffordable housing and medical care, toxic data centers, and leaders who answer to billionaires instead of working people. He also describes how his national prominence grew after the Covenant School shooting in Nashville, when he and two other representatives were expelled from the statehouse for interrupting business as usual to demand gun safety action after being denied the chance to speak. Pearson was reinstated, won his primary with over 90% of the vote, and keeps pushing for common-sense gun laws and stronger protections for families and communities.
