So many of us have stepped into this year looking at our life through a completely different lens.
So many of my clients, colleagues, friends, and family have experienced some profound SHIFTS.
Whether that is around:- Values and the way we live our lives- Career Path- Business Direction- Passion and Purpose- Ambition and Aspirations
So in this episode, I wanted to chat about whether starting that THING – whether it’s a new job, a new business or a new adventure is for YOU!Here is a framework that has been transformational for ME and my 1:1 clients time and time again.
It’s called the .Wheel of Life
This is well known powerful development tool because it gives you a vivid visual representation of the way , compared with the way .your life is currentlyyou'd ideally like it to be
It is called the "Wheel of Life" because each area of your life is mapped on a circle, like the spoke of a wheel.
Essentially, it's:1. Snapshot of where you are now when it comes to key areas of your life2. Your level of satisfaction with where you are now - 1 being lowest – 10 at highest3. And it provides a framework to assess not only where you are now, but most importantly where you WANT TO BE and can be the catalyst for creating an action plan that is laser focused on your IDEAL life goals.
You can customise the spokes on YOUR wheel, but typically they would include key areas of your life such as:
- Health- Family- Friends- Career- Finances- Purpose- Love- Self Development- Contributions
The steps to work through this powerful process start with:
1. A Brainstorm of your Life Areas
2. Think About Your Ideal Level for Life Balance
3. Take Action!
