The Maple Valley Raiders edged out the Milnor/North Sargent Bulldogs in the Region 1 boys basketball tournament on Tuesday night. 

Carson Hovelson paced Maple Valley with 19 points and 4 made three-pointers in the game. 

Maple Valley head coach Jay Kocka recaps the win with Chase Miller. 

Mason Bogart scored a game-high 26 points for Milnor/North Sargent. The Bulldogs season comes to an end with a 6-15 overall record. 

The Raiders play Kindred in the quarterfinals of the Region 1 boys basketball tournament on Monday at 3 p.m.
