Andy's KSL-TV  #WhatToWatch: “The Batman” is a dark film noir with a great cast of villains

View descriptionShare

Andy Farnsworth joins KSL-TV to help audiences decipher #WhatToWatch for the weekend of March 4, 2022. Batman is back on the big screen, this time with Robert Pattinson behind the cowl in Matt Reeves’ “The Batman.” This film-noir detective story is only available in the theaters with a darker tone than recent Batman films and some dark subject matter. For Star Trek fans out there, the second season of “Star Trek: Picard” dropped its first episode yesterday on Paramount Plus with Picard finding himself facing a well-known and powerful nemesis. Over on HBO Max, there is a funny, somewhat true story of an 18th century pirate from Taika Waititi in “Our Flag Means Death.” And for all the people who skipped Steven Spielberg’s remake of “West Side Story” in the theaters, you can now stream it at home on DisneyPlus.
