Faith on the Fringe intro

Principalities over nations, and Moloch

The global rates, and who tops the list

Ninety three thousand a month

Word salad, and how murder got renamed

Nine states with no gestational limit

Sixty new releases, forty horror films

The preface before Lindsay Clancy

Pharmaceuticals, psychosis and sick care

The videos that caused the crash out

What a psyop actually means

Deirdre Morley, Ireland, and the same date

Fear based eschatology and 2030 reels

A widow, twelve hours, a house church

Two mothers, two countries, three children each, killed on the same day of the same month.

***Content warning: the deaths of children, infanticide, abortion and postpartum psychosis. Handled with care, still heavy. Headphones if there are little ears nearby.

Leah opens with the numbers. Ninety three thousand abortions a month in the United States. Nine states and one district carrying no gestational limit at all. A quarter of it now arranged by telehealth with nobody in the room. Malaine reads the rising rates as a principality holding ground, Moloch, collecting, and both of them stop to say plainly that forgiveness is available to anyone listening.

Then the Clancy case, with the preface they insist on first. What derailed Leah's weekend was women filming themselves with their own children saying they understand her, and the four cases that have followed since. Then Deirdre Morley in Ireland, a nurse, three children, the same twenty fourth of January. The back half turns hard against the fear it just handed you, through eschatology sold by the click, 2030 preparedness reels, a starfish on a beach and a widow sown into inside twelve hours. So what would He actually have you do about any of it?

"Just because somebody says something's a psyop doesn't mean that it wasn't real and it didn't happen and that people weren't harmed."

Key Takeaways
The abortion figure per month in the United States, and what it looks like next to the official leading cause of death.
Which countries actually top the global abortion rate table, and why most Americans guess wrong on the first try.
Nine states and one district now carry no gestational limit, and Malaine and Leah name them.
Why a hospital can be legally unable to help a baby born alive, and what that does to the nurses in the room.
Sixty new releases on one streaming service, and how many of them were horror.
What Leah saw on social media after the Clancy case that derailed her entire weekend.
Deirdre Morley in Ireland, a nurse with three children, and the date that matches Lindsay Clancy exactly.
What the word psyop actually means, and the thing people assume it means that Leah wants corrected.
Why fear based eschatology pays, who it pays, and what Leah thinks is coming for the people selling it.

Featured Scripture

Psalm 106:37-38

"Yea, they sacrificed their sons and their daughters unto devils, and shed innocent blood, even the blood of their sons and of their daughters, whom they sacrificed unto the idols of Canaan: and the land was polluted with blood." (KJV)

Application: The psalm is a national inventory, written by people looking back at what their own country did and naming it without softening the language. Two things sit in it that the modern conversation keeps separate. The children were sacrificed to something, and the land itself absorbed the consequence. That is the frame Malaine is working from when she connects a region's rates to a principality holding ground there. Read the whole psalm and notice what breaks the cycle every time it appears, which is somebody standing in the gap and crying out rather than somebody despairing at the numbers.

The Lindsay Clancy case, where it stands:

The trial ended in a mistrial in September 2026 after the jury deadlocked. She had entered an insanity plea, and the case centered on whether postpartum psychosis left her in control of her actions.

Deirdre Morley, Ireland:

Morley was found not guilty by reason of insanity in 2021 over the deaths of her three children. The parallels the hosts name on-mic are worth checking against the reporting yourself.

The Bible is stranger, darker, and more glorious than you were taught. Let's talk about it.

Faith on the Fringe Podcast is where Leah Steele Barnett and Malaine Lea Butler explore the supernatural biblical worldview that most modern churches have quietly shelved. Spirit-Filled. Bible-Obsessed. Slightly Unhinged.

The Divine Council. Fallen Watchers. The Nephilim. Pre-flood history. Spiritual warfare with real teeth. We bring the scholarship, the Spirit, and zero religious performance.

We are not doom-scrolling through Revelation or building bunkers. This is a Kingdom-forward conversation rooted in the belief that God's story is bigger, wilder, and more victorious than mainstream theology has made room for.

For the believers who never stopped asking questions. For the Christ-followers who want the whole Bible, not just the comfortable parts.

MEET THE HOSTS OF FAITH ON THE FRINGE

LEAH STEELE BARNETT

Faith-led cultural commentator, AI educator, and host of The Culture Cast operating at the intersection of technology, culture, and Kingdom stewardship. She examines cultural deception, belief systems, and power structures through a biblical lens. She is pattern-oriented, allergic to hype, and built for the kind of theology that doesn't flinch. On The Fringe, she brings the research, the receipts, and a refusal to let comfortable doctrine go unchallenged.

MALAINE LEA BUTLER

Deliverance-driven disciple of Jesus Christ who walked out of the New Age and into radical transformation through the power of the Gospel. Host of Kingdom Talk and founder of Eden House, she creates space for raw, deep, and confrontational conversations that call hearts into full surrender and freedom in Christ. On The Fringe, she brings fire, spiritual authority, and zero tolerance for religious performance.
