10 years ago, F-Rating was created to help classify films which are written or directed by one or more female film-makers, or feature complex female characters who contribute significantly to the story.

But what if ‘feminist’ is not a noun but an adjective? What if the feminist lens lends itself to all practices and not only film-making? Nirantar Radio brings to you an interview show where The Third Eye team speaks to different practitioners about their practice - but with a feminist lens. 

In Season 1 of F Rated Interviews, meet India’s intrepid women crime reporters, on journalism, ethics, gender, conflicts and some thrilling night rides under the sky.

अक्टुबर 2014 में आयोजित बाथ फ़िल्म फेस्टिवल के दौरान पहली बार एफ (F) रेटिंग की शुरुआत हुई. एफ (F) रेटिंग का मतलब उन फ़िल्मों से है जिसकी निर्देशक महिला हों, या फ़िल्म की लेखक महिला हों और अगर कोई महिला मुख्य किरदार की भूमिका में है तो फ़िर वह कहलाता है गोल्ड रेटिंग, मतलब ट्रिपल एफ (F)! दरअसल, एफ (F) रेटिंग की बुनियाद फ़िल्मों में और पूरी फ़िल्म उद्योग में महिलों के लिए बराबरी के दर्ज़े से है.

कल्पना कीजिए एक ऐसी दुनिया जहां नारीवादी नज़रिया सिर्फ़ फ़िल्मों में ही नहीं बल्कि सभी प्रथाओं में केन्द्रिय भूमिका में हो? इस कल्पना को साकार करते हुए आज हम इस नारीवादी नज़रिये को पॉडकास्ट के बरास्ते आपके पास लेकर आए हैं. इस शो में आप मिलेंगे अलग-अलग क्षेत्रों काम करने वाले अभ्यासकर्ताओं से और नारीवादी नज़र को केन्द्र में रखते हुए द थर्ड आई टीम के साथ होंगी रोचक, शानदार, जानदार बातें.
