Forever Wild Animal Sanctuary is in the high desert area in the town of Phelan.  They are a 501c3 exotic animal rescue organization that rescues animals from across the nation.

Chemaine Almquist, owner of Forever Wild Animal Sanctuary says many of the animals are illegally owned exotic animals or are exotic animals that have been abandoned or mistreated.  Forever Wild Animal Sanctuary gives these animals a permanent home where they are well treated and cared for.

On February 8th they will be holding a special event open to the public with reduced admission price and lots of food and activities. It provides a valuable learning experience for the family.
