Dr. Benjamin F. Miller, PsyD, chief strategy officer of Well Being Trust, a national foundation dedicated to advancing the mental, social and spiritual health of the nation, came on the program to discuss a recent report that shows drug deaths and suicides among Millennials are on the rise. 

The report which analyzed Center for Disease Control (CDC) data between 2007 and 2017 found that drug deaths among 18- to 34-year-olds has more than doubled while alcohol- induced deaths and suicide deaths also saw significant increases.

By 2017, the opioid overdose death rates exploded to five times as many as in 1999.
