Well Being Trust (WBT) and the Lown Institute released a new report which reveals that as California spending on health care skyrockets, state spending on programs and services that keep people healthy and prevent illness has grown far slower.
In the process, state spending has wasted billions on overpriced services and unnecessary care.
Benjamin F. Miller, PsyD, Chief Strategy Officer of Well Being Trust a national foundation dedicated to advancing the mental, social, and spiritual health of the nation came on the program to discuss the results of the report.
Dr Miller says the report indicates that Californians are at risk of losing vital programs in exchange for subsidizing the health care system.
