Riverside County received an award of $23.7 million in funding through the state’s No Place Like Home program.
Marcus Cannon, Behavioral Health Services Administrator for Riverside University Health System – Behavioral Health came on the program to talk about new funding from the state that will help ease the homeless problem.
The funds will create 162 units of permanent supportive housing for individuals with severe and persistent mental illness who are homeless, chronically homeless or at-risk of homelessness.
