Florence is still a Category 4 storm as of 5 p.m EST Sept. 11, 2018 with maximum sustained winds that have increased to nearly 140 mph with higher gusts. 

Hurricane Florence continues barreling toward the Carolinas with its sights set on Wilmington and Fayetteville.
