Two time Olympic Medalist Caster Mokgadi Semenya joins Tshidi Madia to celebrate the athlete's legacy and the release of her memoir "The Race to be myself". 

Caster reflects on the highs and lows of her 15-year-long career,  the massive court challenge against World Athletics which has effectively banned her from competing and the wins along her journey. She also speaks about life beyond the track, her activism and life as a wife and mother.

The family of anti-apartheid activist Imam Abdullah Haron says while they hope Monday’s inquest finding will bring them some closure, it’s also been a traumatic experience. 

Evidence heard in the Western Cape High Court in 2022 suggested that Haron was tortured for months and eventually died of his injuries in police custody when he was just 45 years old.

For years, the family pushed for a new inquest into his death.

Eyewitness News reporter Lindsay Dentlinger spoke to Haron's daughter, Fatiema.
