Michelle was 23 when she packed up her life in New York City and moved to Sydney, where a chance encounter on the streets of Bondi led her straight into the arms of Finn.

Their whirlwind romance had all the makings of a fairytale. But when her visa expired, they were forced to navigate a long-distance relationship that ultimately ended in heartbreak.

Convinced Finn was her soulmate and the one who got away, Michelle spent years believing the universe would eventually bring them back together.

And when she finally got the second chance she'd been manifesting, she discovered that sometimes the universe has a very different plan for your happily-ever-after.
