What makes a perfect partner? Does the person you meet, catch feelings for and see a life with have to be perfect from the start? Or do you look at potential imperfections and think “I can fix them”? Especially when said imperfections are ones you have dealt with yourself?

That’s Jen. She’s what we’d call “a fixer”. The connection she had with Steve was strong enough that what others might perceive as red flags, she saw as things they could overcome. Together. No matter what it took.
But the problem with fixers is that they often fail to see what they’re losing in themselves, in trying to help the other person.
