"Come to me, all of you who are weary and carry heavy burdens, and I will give you rest."
Matthew 11:28

What if the thing exhausting you isn't your schedule... but the weight you're carrying?

In today's episode of Everyday Joy, Ash and Tiani unpack Jesus' beautiful invitation in Matthew 11:28 and explore the difference between physical rest and true spiritual rest.

Together, they discuss the pressure so many Christians place on themselves to perform, achieve, serve more, pray more, and somehow earn God's approval, forgetting that Jesus never invited us into striving. He invited us into relationship.

Ash and Tiani share honestly about carrying other people's burdens, navigating spiritual exhaustion, wrestling with guilt and expectations, and the challenge of bringing their whole selves before God. They reflect on how easy it is to become weighed down by responsibilities, disappointment, and even our own faith journey, while forgetting that Jesus is the one who offers rest for weary souls.

This conversation is a powerful reminder that God never asked you to carry every burden alone. He doesn't want your polished, perfect self. He simply wants you to come to Him.

If you've been feeling exhausted, overwhelmed, spiritually dry, or weighed down by expectations, this episode will encourage you to release what you've been carrying and rediscover the rest that only Jesus can provide.
