"Cast your cares on the Lord and He will sustain you."
Psalm 55:22

What do you do when life isn't turning out the way you expected?

In today's episode of Everyday Joy, Ash and Tiani unpack Psalm 55:22 and have an honest conversation about disappointment, unanswered questions, and learning to trust God when the future feels uncertain.

As Tiani reflects on her move to Sydney and the gap between what she expected this season to look like and what it has actually become, the conversation explores a challenge many of us face: how do we keep trusting God when our plans don't unfold the way we hoped?

Together, they discuss what it means to truly "cast your cares" on God, why surrender is often a daily choice rather than a one-time decision, and the difference between knowing God is faithful in your head versus trusting Him with your heart.

This episode is a powerful reminder that God doesn't always remove our burdens immediately, but He does promise to sustain us through them. Sometimes peace doesn't come from having a lighter load. It comes from placing that load on stronger shoulders.

If you've been wrestling with disappointment, doubt, unanswered prayers, or uncertainty about what God is doing in your life, this conversation will encourage you to keep trusting the One who never changes.
