"We love because He first loved us."
1 John 4:19

How do you love people who think differently from you, frustrate you, or see the world completely differently?

In today's episode of Everyday Joy, Ash and Tiani unpack one of the most challenging realities of the Christian faith: we're called to love people, not just the people we naturally like.

Looking at 1 John 4:19 and the story of the Good Samaritan, they explore what it means to see people the way God sees them. Not through the lens of political views, religious beliefs, past mistakes, or personal differences, but as human beings deeply loved by God.

Together, they discuss why Christianity isn't a pick-and-choose faith, the danger of reducing people to labels, and how God's love challenges us to extend kindness and grace even when it's difficult.

If you've ever struggled with difficult relationships, disagreement, judgement, or loving people who don't see the world the way you do, this conversation is a powerful reminder that the love of God wasn't earned by us, and it's not something we're called to withhold from others.
