"Remember this: Whoever sows sparingly will also reap sparingly, and whoever sows generously will also reap generously."
2 Corinthians 9:6

Why does generosity feel so difficult sometimes?

In today's episode of Everyday Joy, Ash and Shaylee unpack one of the most misunderstood verses about giving, generosity, and trusting God with our finances.

Together, they explore the context behind Paul's encouragement to the Corinthian church and discuss why this passage isn't about getting rich or treating God like a vending machine. Instead, it's about learning to trust God, releasing control, and investing in something greater than ourselves.

Ash and Shaylee share stories of God's faithfulness, the challenge of generosity, and how obedience in our finances often reveals what's happening in our hearts. Because while money can easily become a source of security, comfort, and control, God invites us into a different way of living.

This conversation isn't about pressure or obligation. It's about discovering the freedom that comes when finances lose their grip on us and when we trust that God is able to provide what we need.

If you've ever wrestled with generosity, struggled to trust God with your finances, or wondered what it looks like to sow into God's Kingdom, this episode will encourage and challenge you.

Because sometimes what God is growing isn't your bank account.

It's your faith.
