The Somerton Man, found on the beach in 1948, was finally given an identity last July by electrical engineer, Prof Derek Abbott from Adelaide Uni, using the latest DNA techniques. He's Carl Webb, from Melbourne. Matthew spoke with Prof Abbott on the latest developments in the case, which is still with the state coroner.
