On July 21, 2023, lawyer/activist Siti Kasim discovered two suspicious objects beneath her car which she suspected were bombs, which were later identified as improvised explosive devices (IED). Since then, Inspector-General of Police Tan Sri Razarudin Husain, has come out to say the incident is suspected as attempted murder.
