Our profile interview this evening is Mihlali Sitef, founder and director of Sitef & Co, a law firm specializing in mining, oil and gas, energy and environmental law. She has worked on a wide range of natural resource transactions across the African continent and has advised listed and unlisted companies. She also advises on all aspects of regulatory compliance, mining titles, due diligence, mineral royalties, access to mines and surface use matters, zoning, community and stakeholder engagement matters, disputes, and administrative and constitutional law issues. She has advised various African Governments by reviewing and proposing reforms on existing mining and environmental legislation and benchmarking against international best practice.
