Clinical medicine has always been taught with a strong emphasis on the master-apprentice model.  This relies heavily on clinical educators, many of whom give their time freely.

However, many do so without any formal instruction in education and training.

Our guest on this podcast is Dr Chris Nickson, a world renowned educator and intensivist from the Alfred Hospital in Melbourne.  Among his extensive achievements, Chris is Clinical Adjunct Associate Professor at Monash University, a founder of leading educational site Life in the Fast Lane, and the Lead for the Clinician Educator Incubator.  He joins me on the podcast to talk about the Incubator Program.
