It's Not A Competition!

Julia Simon from Junior Achievement returns to preview this year's Inspire event. Your kid may be attending, OR, you, as a business owner may want to be part of it to hunt for future employees!

This year she brought along Evan who is about to graduate from the program. He has a new-to-me idea for a food truck, and one for cats...who go thru the trash.

First, a sad closing at the library and the Promenade Park concert list has been announced.

Maumee councilperson Margo Puffenberger returns, with a guest of her own, to share all the goodness that comes with the debut of the Maumee Farmer's Market on May 28th, running thru October. Plenty of lemonade!

Also, we spent some time discussing the ongoing drama that's been happening in Maumee. You can be a cynic and say 'of course she would spin it at x y x' but take a listen to the side you're probably not hearing much of. 

Oh, and Monnette's in Maumee is not a dead issue yet!

Toledo's new Kid Mayor Dash Harden visits to share why he wanted to be in the role, and how he's going to ensure no more potholes in his city! Dash is a cool kid who's been to more countries than many of us, and he'd like to get to people to space. Perhaps his brother, Elon, who is here as well, most of all!

Another person you'll hear is an aspiring local podcaster, who you'll usually see in a suit. But not today, so it's truly a special visit!
