He received 19 honorary doctorate degrees, launched several global Christian organizations, wrote numerous books, but most importantly, he was the devoted husband of his bride, Vera Mae Perkins, for 74 years. Above all he loved Jesus and saw the Image of God in everyone he knew. We honor and remember the life and impact of Dr. Perkins on this edition of Equipped with Chris Brooks.
