Virtual Reality (VR) is expected to bring about great changes in social reality - and tourism in particular. Virtual technology is capable of providing very complex multi-sensorial experiences in virtual worlds as well as in virtual tourist destinations and has been suggested as a substitute for actual travel and tourism products.
